The following documents are required for a Islamic marriage in Manchester Islamic Center:

1- Two photos of the bride and groom

2- Complete copy of all pages of the birth certificate of the bride and groom, plus the original (if one of the couple is non-Iranian, the original passport). If the original birth certificate is not available, contact us.

4- Filling the necessary forms in the center

*If one of the couple has been married before, the divorce of the previous marriage must be registered in the birth certificate, otherwise the center will be excused from performing a Sharia marriage.

* The cost of a religious marriage is 150 pounds

* If you choose your appointment on Saturday and Sunday, 30 pounds more will be charged.

*Islamic hijab is not mandatory, but please respect the affairs of the mosque and the Islamic center

* If one of the spouses is non-Muslim, it is necessary to convert to Islam before the marriage
